Racecomp Engineering Superstreet-R Coilovers 2005-2007 WRX STI

In 2006 Racecomp Engineering began its damper co-branding journey with KW Suspension and introduced the Tarmac 2 coilover system. In 2017, after 10 years of track and autocross success with the Tarmac series we released a more affordable series called the Superstreet series. The goal was to bring an entry level damper to the market for daily driving and mild track use. By the end of 2022 we released the Superstreet-2 and it targeted a more track focused, yet still capable of some street comfort and included lowering mounts front and rear. 

We now introduce the Superstreet-R! In a collaboration between KW Suspension and ST Suspensions, Racecomp Engineering brings to market an affordable, damper meant for the trackday enthusiast. The new SS-R is a three-way damping adjustable coilover, allowing adjustment of compression damping in both the low and high-speed range as well as rebound damping adjustment. Damping can be adjusted at 30 clicks for low-speed compression, 30 clicks for high-speed compression, and 20 for rebound with precise clicks for each change. This level of flexibility and tuning is not generally available at this price range and enables an extraordinary level of control over the damping characteristics of the suspension.

Featuring zinc coated galvanized steel shock housings, plus dust boots, and durable seals that KW Suspension is known for, users can drive year-round without worrying about rust or premature weathering. These are an affordable Clubsport coilover that can be both tracked and daily driven. In keeping with the Superstreet lineup the SS-R comes with lowering front camber plates and lowering rear solid pillowball mounts to offer additional suspension travel and precise driver feedback. 

The Superstreet-R continues the tradition of winning time attacks and national level autocrosses by providing another level of performance beyond the now classic RCE Tarmac 2 coilovers. Extensive development, including testing on the track, street, and KW’s seven-post shake rig make the Superstreet-R an excellent choice for track enthusiasts looking to take the next step for their vehicle’s suspension.
