Superstreet-1.5 Rear Upgrade Kit BRZ/GR86

This is an upgrade kit intended for owners for Racecomp Superstreet-1 coilovers for 2013+ 86 cars. (That's Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, Toyota 86 and GR86.) If you are tracking your 86 car and want the rear to be more responsive and lively, with easier rotation, this kit is for you.

(On the same note, if your car is a street car, and/or if you are not comfortable with lift-throttle oversteer, we would suggest that this kit may NOT be for you.)

This kit gives you two upgrades for your existing rear Superstreet-1 coilovers. The first upgrade is the spring, which increases in rate to 7 kg/mm, or 392 lbs/in. The second upgrade is the billet lowering upper mount, which has a proprietary domed design that reduces stack height (compared to the stock-style top mount) by a full 20mm, giving increased bump travel and reduced chance of coil bind at extreme compression events. 

The Superstreet-1.5 kit works great on cars that have moved up to 200 tread wear or R-compound tires, since the additional roll and compression can be offset by the higher spring rate (which resists roll) as well as the increased room between the control arm and the body of the car (which reduces the likelihood of running the suspension into the bump stops).

Assembly is simple; just remove the top nut and your old top mounts from your existing Superstreet-1 rear coilovers, install the new springs and the new top mounts, and bolt the top nuts back on.

Fits all Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota 86/GR86 equipped with Racecomp Superstreet-1 coilovers. Does NOT fit other coilovers. This is an UPGRADE for existing coilovers, NOT a complete coilover set.
